Dataset description

The storm hazard map is based on the approach of a hazard matrix, according to which the storm hazard increases with increasing storm strengths and storm frequencies. The highest storm risk therefore exists on surfaces that are comparatively often exposed to comparatively high gust wind speeds. Danger is defined here as the extent of a situation that can have a negative impact. Danger can affect persons, things, facts, animals or the environment. In order to estimate the actual risk, specific exposure/risk analyses are necessary, especially in areas with a high storm risk. For the entire city, the dissolution takes 10 m and for the sub-area 5 m.
