Dataset description

Map for temperature distribution at a depth of -100 MNHN Data bases are measured temperature profiles at approximately 130 deep groundwater measuring points. These temperature profiles serve as the basis for the design and interpolation (Kriging) of a 3D temperature model for the medium-deep subsurface of Hamburg (Damerau, 2013). With the help of the temperature model, a map of the natural temperature distribution at the depth of -100 MNHN was developed.
