Dataset description

The historical map — the Churmärkische Weichbild Brandenburg 1780 — was published by the Brandenburg State Survey in 1991 as a colour reproduction. The originals are in the Staatsbibliothek Preußischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin. Available in landscape format (34 x 28.5 cm) the map shows the location of the city of Brandenburg in the Middle Ages. The title term — soft image — describes a medieval legal concept for the scope of city law.
