Traffic signs

The data covers the road network maintained by the Finnish Transport Agency. For this type of data, all permanent road signs, capes, signboards, dividing and background signs, as well as their type, attachment, material and condition, which are located along the road and light traffic pathways, are listed. Road signs for service areas and stops, as well as the top triangles of private road connections (231) and stop signs (232) are also inventoryed. For traffic signs other than standard road signs, the area is taken and a photograph taken (365, 611-614, 616-642, 645-650 except for detours, 661 and 662 and signboards 701-704a). The information content of signs, signs, limitations and additional plates, to the extent that it cannot be inferred from the mark number, and the numbers of sign signs (711-774f) which may appear on signboards (701-704a) of service points, shall be entered in the text field.
