Velvet community Lühe: Access to MAL

The industrial park Sandhörn of the municipality of Steinkirchen was secured in 2005 with the development plan no. 11 “Commercial area Sandhörn”. The only existing company is FABY Fruchtgroßhandel GmbH & Co. KG in the east of the area (see aerial picture below). In a part of the previously undeveloped area in the west, another fruit storage company wants to settle (Marktgemeinschaft Altes Land, based in Jork). Since the only development of the site is only a private access to the existing operation, the new construction project is to be opened via a direct access from the north from the Landesstraße 140 (L 140). The access is to be prepared in such a way that it can also be used as public access for other establishments that may be located here later. Since the planned access is outside the current development plan no. 11, it is necessary to draw up a development plan which determines road surface here.
