Dataset description

Compilation of flowing waters 1. Order according to the Water Act for the Land of Saxony-Anhalt (WG LSA). It covers “waters of significant importance in water management”, i.e. inland waterways within the meaning of the Federal Waterways Act and waters recorded in the annex to the WG LSA. The waters were recorded in the scale of the official topographic map 1:10 000 and modelled as a water axis (no surface representation!). The data is provided as vector data in shape format (line theme) for the area of Saxony-Anhalt.
