WCs NW terrain stages

The terrain levels are a special form of an elevation layer pattern, in which each terrain level is assigned a unique colour. The equidistance for each level of terrain is 1 m. The terrain levels are represented alternatingly with 5 colour values (grey, red, yellow, green and blue). There is therefore a difference in height of 5 m between two terrain levels of the same color. This can be used, for example, for the determination of minimum heights of embankments. The terrain levels are derived from the Digital Terrain Model 1 (DGM1). One pixel of the terrain level corresponds to 1 m² on the Earth’s surface.
