Dataset description

The weather radar systems of the German Weather Service (DWD) measure precipitation up to a distance of over 150 km. In addition to the extensive DWD measuring network with weather stations, there are five stations with weather radar systems in Bavaria.Wind power plants (WEA) in particular can negatively affect the measured values of weather radar systems. Therefore, the DWD calls for certain restrictions for the construction of WEAs in the vicinity of weather radar stations.
