WFS administrative areas 1:25 000 — as at 31.12.

This download service represents the administrative areas 1:25 000 as at 31.12. for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. The database comprises all administrative units of the hierarchical administrative levels from the state to the municipalities with their boundaries, statistical key numbers and the name of the administrative unit, as well as the specific description of the administrative level of the respective country.The geometry of the borders is geared towards the ATKIS® base DLM in terms of accuracy and resolution. The dataset is available in two specifications. In the specification Compact, the geometry of the administrative units is redundancy-free in one layer and is essentially classified by three separate attribute tables. In the specification levels, the data are divided into levels (state, state, administrative districts, districts, administrative communities and municipalities) and contain areas with their attributive information.
