WFS Administrative Areas 1:250 000 — Status 01.01.

This download service represents the administrative areas 1:250 000 as of 01.01. for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. The download service comprises all administrative units of the hierarchical administrative levels from the state to the municipalities with their limits, statistical key figures, names of the administrative unit and the specific description of the administrative level of the respective country. The geometry of the boundaries is aligned with the ATKIS®-DLM250 in terms of accuracy and resolution. For each municipality, an additional point object is included in the dataset. The geometry of these points is taken from the location of the DLM250. The data are structured on a level basis (state, state, administrative districts, districts, administrative communities and municipalities) and the areas included directly carry the attributive information.
