WFS reference parcels in Lower Saxony, Bremen and Hamburg

The data set contains the eligible field blocks and landscape elements (reference parcels) from Lower Saxony, Bremen and Hamburg, which have been transformed into the INSPIRE data model “Soil Covering”. Field blocks are contiguous agricultural land with relatively permanent external borders recognizable in nature and a minimum size of 1.000 m² managed by one or more producers, cultivated with fruit species or are decommissioned. Landscape features are special landscape elements that are of outstanding importance from the point of view of biodiversity in the agricultural landscape, offer ecologically valuable habitats and represent an enrichment of the landscape. The reference parcels are updated three times a year.
