Dataset description

Das Waldeigentum in Baden-Württemberg teilen sich Körperschaften - hier vor allem Kommunen - private Personen und der Staat. Ca. 38% des Waldes befinden sich im Eigentum von Körperschaften ca. 37% sind in privater Hand und ca. 24% sind sogenannter Staatswald und gehören dem Land Baden-Württemberg. Dabei wird körperschaftliches sowie privates Waldeigentum durch die Landsforstverwaltung (LFV) und der Staatswald durch ForstBW (AöR) betreut. Auf sehr kleinen Flächen befindet sich außerdem Wald im Eigentum des Bundes, der von der Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben verwaltet wird. Das Geo-Thema Waldeigentumsarten ist aus Datenbeständen von Landesforstverwaltung (LFV), ForstBW (AöR), Bundesforsten und dem LGL zusammengestellt worden .
