Dataset description

This presentation service provides the administrative areas 1:2 500 000 (VG2500) as at 31.12. for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Administrative Regions Dataset (VG) comprises the administrative units of all hierarchical levels from the state to the municipalities with their respective administrative boundaries, statistical key figures, the names of the administrative units and the specific designations of the administrative levels. The data are divided into state, state, administrative districts and districts. In addition, the dataset includes names of national minorities and overviews of administrative units. As of 31.12., it is possible to connect to federal statistics. Scale: 1:2500000
