WMS Climate Adaptation Green roof cadastre

The green roof cadastre NRW informs about the potential of subsequent roof greening, it serves owners for orientation and provides important basic data for municipal actors for climate adaptation strategies. The data are model results that serve a non-binding initial information rather than exact measurement data. The calculated values may differ from the actual circumstances for methodological reasons and are to be understood as orientation. Roof greens can only be carried out after checking the local conditions, in particular the statics. Roof windows and the like cannot be recognised. In principle, specialist companies for the subsequent greening of roofs should be contracted for larger roof sections. If necessary, requirements of monument protection or local design statutes must be observed.
