Dataset description

Display service for the record from https://www.deutschlandatlas.bund.de : Share of under 15-year-olds in SGB II needs communities in the age group in 2019 in %. Community needs include the closest family members in a household for which unemployment benefit II is calculated together. This includes children as well. In 2019, more than 1.5 million children under the age of 15 lived in need communities in Germany. This corresponds to a share of 13.1 percent in this age group.
