Dataset description

Display service for the Digital Orthophotos — Floor resolution 20 cm for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany. The database includes the Digital Orthophotos (DOP) of Germany as georeferenced, differentially equalised aerial images of the survey administrations of the federal states. The image data is delivered to the BKG with a bottom resolution of 20 cm (1 pixel = 20 cm x 20 cm). This results in a German-wide dataset DOP20, which can be used via web services in full resolution and as DOP40 (1 image pixel = 40 cm x 40 cm). The purchase of individual image files is possible in flexible resolutions via the web application BKG Download. In addition, detailed up-to-date information about the images can be accessed via another, freely accessible web service (wms_info, wfs_info). Soil resolution: 0.2 m
