Dataset description

The Topographic Atlas of the Kingdom of Württemberg 1: 50 000 (1821-1851) and the Topographic Atlas on the Grand Duchy of Baden 1: 50 000 (1838-1849) are the results of the first topographical survey. The maps describe the topography of Württemberg and Baden. The shape of the terrain is designed with the “Lehmann’s Schraffur”. The individual card sheets were printed in monochrome in black. The WMS offers the georeferenced, cut out and aggregated scans of the map sheets in two layers (Württemberg and Baden).
