Wood removal routes in Saxony — points accompanying the way

The data set includes the turning points recorded in the course of the NavLog project since March 2007 and relevant for logistics along the currently used timber removal routes in the Free State of Saxony. Wood removal routes are transport and return paths that are used in the harvesting of wood. The accompanying objects include the transition points from the exit path to the public road network, barriers, turning points, bridges, storage places, etc. Each object is provided with information about the size (length, width, height), passing width, tonnage and traversability in the loading state. The NavLog project as a joint project of the forestry and timber industry aims to create a uniform database of navigational data across the whole country via the sewer network of all forest species. The data is used in the exit path map, scale 1:25,000.
