Dataset description
The data set covers all wood floor areas in the state forest of the Free State of Saxony. Wood floor is the area of the forest, which is permanently intended for wood production, including trenches, paths, snows < 5 m width. For each area, type of ownership, forest farm number, forest part, department, subdivision, sub-area and stock, as well as forest district and area are indicated. The data are part of the basic forest data/forest base map and are at the same time the basis for the collection/running of all basic forest data as well as the derived other map types in the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
