Dataset description

The map shows the components belonging to the World Heritage Montan Region Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří. Out of a total of 22 components, 17 are on the German side and five on the Czech side. The selected monuments, natural and cultural landscapes represent in their entirety the most important mining areas and epochs of Saxon-Bohemian ore mining. Each component consists of different individual objects or landscapes. In addition, other sites are included as “associated objects”, which contribute to a comprehensive mediation of montane historical heritage.
