Wurten recorded as archaeological sites in the state of Bremen. Wurten (also known as Warfts) are anthropogenicly spilled settlement mounds that were used to protect against storm surges and other flooding events. Its construction took place in various periods from the first centuries after Christ to the early modern era. Wurten are soil monuments according to § 2 (2) 4 Bremisches Denkmalschutzgesetz.
This dataset has so far been incomplete and includes only a part of the sausages present in the Land of Bremen.
