Dataset description

The Atlas Map 5.2 shows in a generalised form a comprehensive representation of the groundwater deposits in Germany, differentiated according to the yield of existing plants or the groundwater opening derived from it. The yield of the deposits is in five levels of value divided. Of them is also a ranking of groundwater deposits its importance for drinking water supply can be seen. In addition to areas with significant or less significant deposits shall be excreted in: which do not have contiguous and regionally significant groundwater resources or are to be expected. The regionally significant groundwater deposits are in three Classes with roughly quantified yield levels further subdivided.
