Addresses Cologne

An address is part of the local division. This hierarchical system divides the Cologne city area into a city structure and block structure at various levels. Other components include a road structure and addresses. The entire municipal division is explained in this publication. Definition: Buildings are encrypted and localised via addresses. The construction of the building addresses is based on a recommendation of the German City Day. Addresses are the only places on the basis of which anyone can easily orientate themselves, who are officially forgiven, — which is appropriate in the locality; and — to be proven in map works. Explanation of the attributes is attached to the shapefile as CSV. Coordinate system Shapefile: ETRS 1989 UTM Zone 32N The Cologne Road Directory provides an overview of all applicable street names and addresses. It is updated about half-years and before each election.
