Dataset description

The data set contains the number of days exceeded for particulate matter (PM 10) of urban measuring stations. The archive data for particulate matter can be found below underground values for particulate matter. There are also data on annual averages. Data on other pollutants are provided in the datasets on benzene, ozone and soot. Similarly, the load is prepared with nitrogen oxides. Here you will find the time series as archive data, the annual averages and also the most up-to-date measured values. The files with the most up-to-date values are automatically added once an hour by another reading. The geoinformation of the urban measuring stations is available in a separate dataset. The state capital Düsseldorf performs air quality measurements and evaluates the results based on the legal basis. Currently, it is the Federal Immission Protection Act in combination with the 39. Federal Immission Protection Regulation. Additional information can be found on the ‘Air Quality’ page of the Environmental Agency. Further information sources can be accessed via the links of the ‘Online Data’ page. The files contain the following column information: Year: Yearly information Loads: Number for the measuring station at Ludenberger Allee (measurements set at the end of 2013) Doro: Number for the measuring station on Dorotheenstraße Brinck: Number for the measuring station on Brinckmannstraße Aaper: Number for the measuring station in Aaper Wald (measurements set at the end of 2013)
