The data set contains the information of the permanent counting points for cycling in Düsseldorf.
The data shows when how many cyclists have been on the road in this place. The measurement results are recorded at a 15-minute interval.
In Düsseldorf there are 22 permanent counting points for cycling. In autumn 2014, the counting point on the Mannesmannufer was linked to an information board. It displays the daily and annual values at this point of measurement. If information is missing in the presentation, the corresponding permanent counting point was out of operation at the time of measurement.
The data collected may differ year-on-year, as the figures of cyclists always have to take into account the corresponding weather on the day of the measurement. So it may be that on day X a few cyclists are counted, on the same day more counted one year later, as the weather may be better or it is a weekend day.
The daily count values can be retrieved on the EcoCounter page.
