Childcare rates — Educational monitoring 2012 to 2017

The data set contains data on childcare rates from the monitoring report on the educational situation for the state capital Düsseldorf. The focus of the monitoring report is on early childhood education, formal education, vocational education and training as well as the educational situation of newly immigrant pupils, which has become more important as a result of the strong international migration of 2015 and 2016. The report excludes the area of non-formal education, e.g. through family education centres or adult education institutions. The maintenance ratios file contains the following column information: Year: Number of years Childcare rate (children under 3 years): Places in day care, day-care facilities and supported play groups in relation to children under 3 years of age Childcare rate (children from 3 years): Places in day-to-day facilities related to children from 3 to under 6 years plus one month of birth (adult year)
