Dataset description
The data record records all convicted persons who had to be responsible for crimes or offences under the Criminal Code or other federal laws or for the offenses under state laws. The proportion of convicted Germans in all convicted persons, by age group and by gender, is presented here. The indicator is relevant for an overall picture of integration and shows the distribution of Germans and foreigners among convicted persons by age group and gender, with a lack of information specific to offences. The statistics do not cover a migrant background, but only nationality. The data were consulted from the statistical offices of the countries.
