The COVID-19 vaccination can be a turning point in the control of the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore receives a high level of public attention. The introduction and implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination is accompanied by specific challenges to be taken into account when collecting vaccination data. In this context, the aim of the project ‘Digital Vaccine Rate Monitoring’ (DIM) is to record and present the vaccination rate nationwide throughout Germany in order to analyse the course of the COVID-19 vaccine fighter in a timely manner, to proceed as necessary, and to draw logistical or organisational consequences. The dataset provided by the DIM project contains data on the course of COVID-19 vaccinations in Germany. The vaccine data published here aggregates data from three data sources: The DIM data contain data from the vaccination centres, mobile vaccination teams, hospitals and company doctors, which are transmitted via the DIM web applicationThe daily aggregated core dataset of the vaccinating doctors via the Federal Association of Public Health (KBV)The daily aggregated core dataset of the vaccinating doctors via the Private Medical Association (PBV) The data set is scientifically citable in the European research data repository Zenodo.org and on GitHub.com
