Dataset description
The data set contains polygons of the 1739 (construction) blocks in the Remscheid city area. The (construction) blocks in Remscheid form the smallest spatial unit as a means of organising statistics and planning. The 50 districts as well as the 4 districts of Alt-Remscheid, Süd, Lennep and Lüttringhausen are derived from the building blocks. The following factual information is stored about the polygon surfaces: Block number(block), associated district number (city part), name of the block with associated district(Refname). The record is under an open data license: Data License Germany — Zero — Version 2.0 (https://www.govdata.de/dl-de/zero-2-0) available.
