Distribution of groundwater stock plants as a specialist layer of the digital hydrogeological map 1:100 000. The presentation is recommended together with the separate specialist layers groundwater equals and bases for the creation of groundwater equivalents. Zoom limitation min. 1:200 000 to max. 1:50 000. A groundwater stock is an aquifer including its upper and lower limit as an observation unit within the perpendicular structure of the lithosphere. In the case of hydraulic connections, groups of aquifers are also considered as a single groundwater stock. The dHK100 was created in the period 2000 to 2015 (planning region 14 Munich to 2019) by planning region. Technical maps of all specialist layers of the dHK100 and HK100 respectively were generally the available geological maps in scale 1:25 000 and 1: 50 000 at the respective processing level. Their geometries were partially generalised. There is no systematic continuation of the dHK100. Due to the planning region-based processing over longer periods of time, geometric and attributive inconsistencies can occur along the planning region boundaries between the aquifer unit that clashes there. These are due to different basic geological maps from which the hydrogeological maps are derived. Geometries and legend units are designed for the scale 1:100 000 (1 cm on a map corresponds to 1 km in nature) and are generally highly generalised. The dHK100 or HK100 is intended as the basis for large-scale observations. It does not replace detailed examinations and peer-review by a specialist office in the planning of local projects. The scale-based accuracy of statements does not change due to the scale-independent visualisation possibilities of digital map works. For further interpretations that combine or overlap the map work with other spatial datasets, it should be noted that a duplication of spatial data with very different resolutions or targets or different types of attribute can lead to implausible or difficult to interpret results.
