Drilling risks up to 100 m depth

Presentation of the distribution of geologically and/or hydrogeologically high-risk areas to be observed with a view to carrying out a well for the construction of geothermal probes. Risks associated with the execution of a drilling are, among other things, in the range of karst rocks due to cavity formations, in the area of rocks with plaster and anhydrite deposits due to their strong spring capacity at water entering, which can lead to a lift of the terrain surface and in areas with artesically strained groundwater. The information on drilling risks corresponds to the current level of knowledge of geological and hydrogeological conditions. The data set provides a basis for large-scale considerations and does not replace the conduct of detailed investigations.
