Energy balance City area Bonn

This accounting is based on final energy consumption in the city of Bonn (territorial principle). One exception is the transport sector. The basis here is the number of registered vehicles in the area of individual transport and on average per inhabitant driving performance in freight and rail transport. This also covers the transport services of Bonn residents outside the urban area, but the commuters from the surrounding municipalities on Bonn territory are not. This inhabitant-based approach is due to better data availability.
