PEGELONLINE is a free internet-based service of the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSV) for the timely provision of water-related data. PEGELONLINE provides up-to-date water-related data from the WSV of currently around 660 levels on the federal waterways to external third parties (public). The measured values at the coastal levels are recorded every 15 minutes on the inland roads and updated regularly up to once daily.
Basically, all measured values are untested raw values. The values are published directly from the levels without testing. There may be outliers and gaps. PEGELONLINE does not publish raw values older than 30 days. If the measured values are older than 30 days at a station, then these parameters are automatically no longer offered. Therefore, the number of parameters & stations offered is dynamic. In the case of floods, polder levels can be listed, which is eliminated 30 days after the flood.
PEGELONLINE offers a variety of level parameters. In addition to the level master data, the water level and the drain, these include water temperature, electrical conductivity, wind, turbidity, passage height, flow velocity, air temperature, ph value, etc. In some cases, these parameters are only measured at individual stations.
PEGELONLINE is technically operated and supervised by the Information Technology Centre Bund (ITZBund).
