Dataset description
The Federal Immission Protection Act (BImSchG — Act for the Protection against Harmful Environmental Impacts due to Air Pollution, Noise, Vibrations and Similar Operations) requires a permit for installation and operation for installations which are particularly suitable for harmful effects on the environment. These installations requiring authorisation are annexed to the 4th Ordinance to the BImSchG (Regulation on installations requiring authorisation — (4. BImSchV) listed. All installations which, due to their nature or size, are not included in this catalogue shall be considered as installations which are not subject to authorisation.
