Historic Cologne City Map Archaeological Zone Cologne

The Archaeological Zone has been digging and researching for decades in the heart of the city of Cologne. Our research is mostly accompanied by historical maps, working with various institutions, such as the cadastral office and the Historical Archives of the City of Cologne. Here we present a digitised historical map collection that offers a journey through time from the 17th century to the 1960s. The dataset consists of 30 georeferenced Cologne city maps and includes cadastral, corridor and overview maps. All materials are georeferenced and provided as GeoTiff. Detailed information on the map materials, such as manufacturer, date, color, scales, etc., can be found in the metadata.
