Jewellery Objects Museum of Applied Arts Cologne

The MAKK preserves an extremely rich collection of jewellery, which encompasses more than 1,500 objects from antiquity to the present and not only covers a wide range of content, but also contains works of partly very high artistic and craftsmanship quality. The collection is largely the result of generous private foundations and has its main focus in the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the 19th century. Important works of the 20th and 21st centuries are also represented. The data set comprises 53 objects from the jewellery collection the metadata/object information in Excel and csv as well as related image material (jpg) which is made available as Open Data as part of the Coding da Vinci Hackathon Nieder.Rhein.Land 2021.
