Land use plan Wuppertal as of 17.1.2005

The dataset includes a grid data image of the now valid Wuppertal Land Use Plan (FNP). It refers to the state of the FNP in which it became legal on 17.1.2005 and thus replaced the second Wuppertal FNP of 30.6.1967. The FNP (preparatory construction management planning) and the development plans to be developed from it (binding construction management planning) are the instruments of municipal building management planning. The raster data was generated by scanning the original plan. The FNP was digitised using the SICAD/open geoinformation system used at the time on the basis of the German base map 1:5,000 (DGK 5), as of 1996. Tension-free overlay with current large-scale maps or orthophotos is therefore not possible. The record will not be continued. The determinations of amendments to the FNP are kept in separate data sets. In order to obtain the current statement of the FNP, in addition to the original plan, the legally effective modification procedures must therefore be considered. The raster data is provided to users in a zip archive with 13 tiles depicting 6 km x 6 km in TIFF format with World File (TFW). The dataset is available under an open data license (CC BY-ND 4.0) with the exclusion of data modification. According to the AG Geokom.NRW of the leading municipal associations in NRW and the state of NRW, there is a statutory publication obligation for the FNP in accordance with the requirements of the INSPIRE Directive and the Spatial Data Access Act NRW. It is referred to in the recommendation for action of this WG to the topic of “soil use” in Annex III to the Directive.
