Dataset description
Among other things, the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) grants type approvals for vehicles of category M1 (cars) and N1 (trucks) in accordance with Directive 2007/46/EC and Regulation (EU) 2018/858, which the vehicle manufacturers authorise them to manufacture in series. For the sake of transparency of public action, the KBA publishes a list of vehicle type-approvals granted by the KBA under the link below. In addition, the table informs which European Member State grants the corresponding emission type approval. This list is updated at regular intervals and starts with the deadline of 01.01.2019.
