Dataset description

The figures represent the percentage of women and men in the respective local representations. Municipal representations include districts, municipal councils, district parliaments (city states), city citizenship/ordained assembly (Bremen). Municipal councils in district-affiliated municipalities and cities are not included. The representatives elected in the last election are taken into account, with the exception of retrospectives.
