The territory of the then Principality of Lippe, almost identical to the present district of Lippe, was not touched by the Prussian map recording. This map is an island map in 6 sections (sections) without any geodetic reference that is still recognizable today. It was derived by generalisation of the land tax mark card (cataster map) and drawn between 1881-1883. The georeference was carried out with identical points from the Prussian Resumption of 1891-1912. Section V has been divided. The right part was added to Section VI. This was necessary to allow four pieces of cards to be met in one point. After joining together, the map sheets bordering Prussia were circumcised at the border. The claffings or overlays created at the edges of the map can be explained by different methods of reception, border regulations in the period 1836-1881 and the different geodetic foundations.
