The historical map — railway between Potsdam and Berlin — was published by the Brandenburg State Survey in 1990 as a colour reproduction. The originals are in the Staatsbibliothek Preußischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin. Available in landscape format (43 x 28 cm) the map shows the location of the railway line between the cities of Potsdam and Berlin in 1838. Along the railway is the historical location of the settlements — Novawess, Teltow, Zehlendorf. Steglitz and Schöneberg shown.
In addition to the extensive representation of the cities of Potsdam and Berlin, parts of the Havel and the Spandow Forest are also depicted.
