Marital status in Düsseldorf — Demography monitoring

The data set contains figures on the marital status of citizens with main residence in the state capital Düsseldorf since 2013, as published by the Office for Statistics and Elections in the current report on demographic monitoring for the years 2013 to 2018. The file “Family Status in Düsseldorf” contains the following column information: Year: Year Total: Of all citizens aged 18 and over of which single: pro rata number of singles of which married: pro rata number of married persons of which widowed: pro rata number of widowed of which divorced: pro rata number of divorced persons of which registered civil partnership: Pro rata number of registered civil partnership persons of which no civil partnership has been lifted: Pro rata number of persons with revoked registered civil partnership Comments: Only persons over 18 years of age will be taken into account. Cases where marital status is unknown are not listed. Since 01.10.2017 there have been no newly registered civil partnerships due to the “marriage for all”. As a result, only existing ones will be identified. An increase has been excluded per se since then.
