Mining licences in North Rhine-Westphalia

For the exploration and extraction of mineral resources (e.g. coal, hydrocarbons, geothermal heat, etc.), the state administration of NRW grants mining authorisations. The topic shows all mining authorisations that have been newly granted under the Federal Mining Act or maintained in accordance with §149 and their further development. The following information is displayed: Authorisation type, field name, soil treasure, location, field size, rightholder (for permissions and authorisations the last known right holder, for mine ownership the last owner registered in the Berggrundbuch), as well as, if necessary, a time limit.
