At its meeting on 19 February 2020, the Municipal Election Committee decided for the municipal elections to be divided into 33 electoral districts as before.
<div>The following premises have been taken into account for the new constituency division:</div>

<div>- The breakdown does not show a deviation of ± 15 per cent in any electoral district, both in terms of the relevant population and the number of persons entitled to vote against the respective urban average.

<div>- The city districts (according to municipal regulations) of the city of Bonn are preserved in their demarcations. Constituencies do not overlap with the boundaries of the districts.</div>

<div>- The reclassification is based on the statistical spatial reference system of the city of Bonn.</div>

<div>The electoral districts are divided into several voting districts for the organisation of voting and counting.
In the municipal elections in 2020, the city area is divided into 33 electoral districts. For the organisation of voting and counting, they are divided into several — a total of 163 — voting districts. As an adaptation to the corona situation, voting districts were summarised in different places compared to previous elections. The dataset outputs the area data.
There is a voting room for each voting district. The voters are informed about their voting district/election room by their election notification.</div>
