Natural Resources of the Federal Republic of Germany 1:1,000,000

The map of the mineral resources of the Federal Republic of Germany 1:1,000,000 (BSK1000) provides basic information on the spatial distribution of energy raw materials and mineral raw materials (stones and earths, industrial minerals and ores) in Germany. The mineral resources are grouped into raw material groups and are correspondingly represented as different-colored area units. The reverse of the map contains information about the definition, origin, important occurrences, use and economic importance of all the raw materials presented. The map is issued by the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Raw Materials in cooperation with the State Geological Services.
