Nature areas

The data set divides the area of the national park according to the actual state of nature and landscape into natural dynamic zones, nature development zones and utilisation zones. Natural dynamic zones are areas that are in a state not or less influenced by humans. Nature development zones are areas that are developed by biotope restoration and restoration measures that are not geared towards management or permanent management and the resulting increase in the proximity of existing ecosystems to natural dynamic zones. Utilisation zones are culturally historically valuable areas such as mountain meadows, mountain heaths and heavy metal grassland, as well as recreation areas in the immediate vicinity of the settlement areas.
