Network Topology City Map Bonn

The city cartography in the Office for Soil Management and Geoinformation maintains the official Bonn city map in a geo-information system. Technically, the system is designed in such a way that road and path axes as well as so-called usage limits form a line network. These lines in turn enclose areas that, adding the information “type of use” then become “use areas”. Attributes such as street type, road number, street name and much more information are added to the lines. On this basis, the online city map as well as the printed official city map of the city of Bonn is derived from sign regulations.
