New registration of motor vehicles and their trailers in 2023 (FZ 8)

Through the notifications from the registration authorities in Germany, the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) in the Central Vehicle Register (ZFZR) registers all newly registered vehicles in Germany. In addition to vehicle-related data, such as the manufacturer, fuel type, vehicle body, information on the holder or holder and the registration process, such as the date of registration, are transmitted. In FZ 8, the monthly new registrations are presented by vehicle classes, size classes, federal states, manufacturers and holder groups. In addition, passenger cars are reported according to brands and other technical characteristics such as fuel types and CO2 emissions. In addition to the identification of the monthly registration figures, the vehicles registered up to and including the reporting month for the full year are also presented.
