*Short description The statistics of the students provide information about the students at the North Rhine-Westphalian universities. Characteristics collected by semesters include sociodemographic characteristics of the students, number of university and subject semesters, subject of study, desired degree. The provision of data takes place via the administrative data of the universities. The data are spatially differentiated up to the level of universities. The quality report provides information on methods and definitions as well as the quality of the results of a statistics. It is available for free download on the website of the Federal Statistical Office.
