In the OSIMAB project, a holistic concept for the monitoring and condition assessment of road bridges in the stock is being developed, thereby laying a foundation for predictive life cycle management. The project includes modular safety management and operates a real laboratory on the A45 with the Sachsengraben valley bridge, which provides extensive measurement data with 145 active sensors. Based on this measurement data, system models, or FE models, are calibrated, which, in combination with a purely data-driven approach, or a smart data analysis, record the state of the structure and continuously show its development. Finally, the reliability analysis based on this provides a safety-equivalent assessment on the basis of which the identified risks can be assessed and recommendations for action can be made.
The data sets provided here (osimab_sample.zip) contain an extract of the recorded measurement data of the demonstrator building, or the Sachsengraben valley bridge on the A45. The measuring equipment of the bridge includes piezoelectric accelerometers (BA/ACC), electrical strain gauges (DMS/SG), inductive displacement transducers (WA), inclination transducers (NA/INC) and temperature sensors (T).
The documents HBM OSIMAB Demonstrator Sensors.pdf (high resolution map of metrological equipment: Overview and abutment), readme.md (notes and comments on selected records: file name, purpose, sampling frequency, duration, date, time) and measurement concept_OSIMAB_Demonstrator.docx comprehensively explain the data sets provided here.
In addition to the sensor technology used, the measurement concept also explains the background and benefits of the metrological equipment and also provides insights into the management, analysis and evaluation of the measured data.
